Autism Evaluation FAQ

Yes. We provide comprehensive autism evaluations using standardized assessment tools including the ADOS-2 and CARS-2, combined with clinical observations and a thorough developmental history to reach an accurate diagnosis.

We evaluate children and adolescents from 16 months through 18 years. Autism can be identified at very early ages, and we have the tools and expertise to assess toddlers through teenagers.

The full evaluation consists of four separate visits. This allows for thorough assessment across multiple sessions, which leads to more accurate results than a single-visit approach. Most families complete the process within 2–3 weeks.

We review all results with your family in detail. You receive a comprehensive written report including the diagnosis (when applicable), specific recommendations for therapies, school services, and next steps, and answers to your questions. We help connect you with appropriate resources.

We accept most major insurance plans including CHAMPVA, BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare. Please contact our office to verify your specific coverage and benefits, as networks may change over time.
